Popular Chinese app WeChat removed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement .

China's national security is being threatened and state secrets are being disclosed.  The popular Chinese app WeChat removed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement on the Galwan clash citing these reasons.  At the same time, the update of the Indian embassy in China has also been deleted.

Modi's statement on the Indo-China border, a phone conversation between the two foreign ministers on Thursday and a statement from the Indian foreign ministry spokesman were removed.

Earlier in the day, the Indian embassy had said it had deleted the post after deleting a statement from India's foreign ministry spokesman on China's Weibo account on Twitter.  A screenshot of the statement in Chinese was also posted.  However, WeChat's statement was in English.

Followers of the Indian Embassy in WeChat were the first to notice the discrepancy on Saturday morning.  After clicking on the statement, it is shown - ‘The person who posted it has deleted it.’ However, the Indian embassy did not delete the post.  The third post, however, explicitly states, "This content cannot be shown because it violates the rules." The content has been reported and confirmed.  Mandarin then said there were allegations of violations of laws, rules and policies.  Later, a long list of issues was raised, including threats to national security, undermining national unity, spreading false information, spreading hatred, and inciting illegal gatherings.
