Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Ladakh .

Significant activity in the atmosphere of conflict.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Ladakh.  News of the Prime Minister's landing at the Leh military base came around 10 am.  But there was no news before that he could go to Ladakh on this day.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by CDS General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff and Manoj Mukund Narbane, Chief of Army Staff.  Defense experts believe that the sudden visit of the Prime Minister is very significant.  It is also reported that he went to LAC from Leh.  It is learned that the Prime Minister has visited some of the border posts of the Indian Army in LAC and talked to the jawans deployed at the border.  It is learned that the Prime Minister has already met the soldiers who were injured in the clash in Galwan on the night of June 15 in Leh.  However, it is unclear whether the prime minister flew to Leh earlier, or his plane landed earlier at the Forward Landing Ground in Nimu, near the border.

Neither the PM's office nor the defense ministry has said before that Prime Minister Modi himself can visit Ladakh today.  Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was scheduled to visit Ladakh on Thursday.  That tour was canceled at the last minute.  Delhi did not explain why it was canceled.  But defense experts said Rajnath's visit was postponed as talks with China were progressing.  Some explained that the message was that India did not want a conflict now, but that the goal was to reduce military activity when the situation calmed down, suspending Rajnath's visit.  But on Friday morning, it became clear that Rajnath's visit was postponed on Thursday because there were many more big messages to give to China.

Chief of Army Staff Manoj Mukund Narwane and Chief of Air Staff RKS Bhadauria had earlier visited Ladakh after the situation in the LAC heated up.  They came to check the military preparations.  The forces also said that India was ready to respond to any aggression.  However, talks were underway with China.  Meanwhile, the sudden arrival of Prime Minister Modi in Ladakh is believed to have changed India's strategic message.

Defense experts and international relations experts consider Prime Minister Modi's visit to the border to be very important.  The Prime Minister himself does not go to the border post unless the situation is very serious or if he does not think of a big step.  Therefore, the former army chief is claiming that this sudden visit of the Prime Minister to the border will boost the morale of the forces.  Diplomats say this is a big message for China as well.  Despite ongoing talks, China has not yet complied with any of the decisions taken at the meeting.  Diplomats believe that Modi's entry into the country today sent a direct message to Chinese President Xi Jinping that China's strategy of continuing to drag on in this way would not be tolerated by India for long.  The Prime Minister's LAC visit made it clear that India is ready for any action this time around, defense experts say.
