Again, a black man was killed by a white policeman!

The flames of protest against the death of George Floyd have not abated.  Meanwhile again, a black man was killed by a white policeman!

 According to the report,  Richard Brooks, a 27-year-old black man, was  shot dead while trying to make an arrest.  The mayor said that Erica Shield, the chief of the U.S. police force, had resigned.  Informed quarters think that this incident has once again ignited the fire of protest against racism and police brutality. 

 

It is learned that Brooks was sleeping in his car near a fast food restaurant in Wendy late last Friday night.  At the time, staff at the restaurant complained to police that Brooks was obstructing other customers from lying down.  The police then tried to arrest him.  Brooks interrupted.  A video footage showed him wrecking havoc with police.  It is seen that at that time he suddenly snatched the gun of a policeman and tried to escape.  Brooks turned his shotgun on himself when apprehended by a police officer on the porch of the house where the shootings took place.  

Erica Shield, a police officer, said in a statement that she was forced to open fire.  Brooks was taken to a local hospital.  Surgery is also done.  But he could not be saved.
